One of a dogs’ favorite activities is to go out into the yard and play. Scents, colors, textures, physical activity – everything that stimulates a dog, and therefore, gives him pleasure is in one place.

This is precisely why it is not easy for many owners to lure their dogs back into the house, even when they use treats for this purpose. However, although this is rare, sometimes it can be the other way around and in a funny way.

It is exactly what one dog owner named Liv Moorhouse witnessed when she left her Cockapoo in the yard to play, thinking that he would not want to return inside so soon.

Yet, she was up for a surprise when she glanced at the window that was next to the front door of the house.

A Hilarious Sight

A TikTok video posted by @livmoorhouse shows a Cockapoo in front of a house door, standing on his back legs and looking through the nearby window at the camera. 

There wouldn’t be anything strange if this dog hadn’t soon done something that wasn’t typical of his species. Instead of a loud bark, this furry fellow suddenly raised his paw and started “knocking” on the door in the manner of a most polite human. 

Liv couldn’t believe what a hilarious scene she was witnessing, and because of that, she couldn’t resist immortalizing it with a video. However, apart from the fact that she found it funny, Liv was also amazed by this act. 

“He’s so clever he’s even tapping on the door to come in,” Liv wrote in the caption of the video. 

According to Newsweek, after his mom didn’t open the door, this dog realized that knocking wasn’t enough. After the initial confusion, he quickly changed his tactics and sent an extra sign to his owner – the stare-down.

As he continued to stand on his hind legs, this dog had a full view of the kitchen where his mom was standing, laughing. He took it as an insult and couldn’t believe that she wasn’t opening the door yet. It was a disgrace!

Although she later let him in, she would definitely have to buy a lot of treats to make up to him. Still, it is a small price to pay for this hilarious scene as well as for a video that made many souls laugh and cheer up.

Amazing Reactions

As already stated, after Liv recorded the video of her pup knocking on the door, she shared it on TikTok. Although she knew it would attract some attention, she did not think that it would be to this extent.

There were many amazing reactions, but we highlighted only a couple of them. 

“Clever dog beautiful ❤️,” one user wrote. 

“So sweet and gentle🥰,” another wrote. 

And the third joked: “Get him his own key 😂😂”

Maybe Liv does just that instead of buying him treats to repay him for the time he had to spend outside the door playing human. 

We actually think that this amazing dog deserves nothing less.
