Life is always good at presenting challenges for us, but it’s how we handle them that is important. For Solovino and his owner, things were not going so great.

They were forced to live under a bridge together and try to survive in any way they could. However, so long as they had each other, that’s what is important. Right?

While I can understand that Solovino’s owner loves his dog and it’s hard for him to find any help, it would probably be for the best if he was able to find this sweet pooch someone who could care for him properly.

Their luck would change for the better when a kind person saw their situation and decided to do something to help.

Four Months Living Under A Bridge

Even though Solovino loved his owner very much, he certainly had a lot of problems. He was battling addiction and was forced to live under a bridge to survive.

Their life had changed drastically in a short time, and they spent roughly four months living in those conditions.

The nights would often get cold, and they struggled to stay warm. During the day, Solovino tried to find any food he could eat, but it was not easy.

Things would change when a kind stranger noticed their unfortunate situation and decided to lend them a hand.

A kind woman named Maddie Tyssen saw Solovino and her owner. Her dog, named Zeke, loved playing with Solovino and it was always amusing to see them together.

Eventually, she would grow very fond of this sweet dog, and she had a strong desire to help in some way, so she assisted them when she could.

She took Solovino to the vet and gave her some food. While this was absolutely amazing, it was not a permanent solution, only a temporary one. 

A New Chance For Solovino

When his owner saw just how happy he was whenever Maddie and her dog, Zeke, were around, he knew it was probably a good decision to let him go.

After all, he would have a new chance and wouldn’t have to struggle living under a bridge anymore. He begged Maddie to take Solovino with her.

She did not have an easy time accepting this decision because she knew just how much he loved his owner.

After much convincing, she finally accepted, but there were some conditions. She gave the owner a phone, so she could contact him and show Solovino’s progress over time.

The owner said his goodbyes to his beloved companion and Maddie took him to his new home after that. 

In her care, he has transformed completely. He is so much happier now that he has a home, a dog sibling, and a mom who is providing him food and affection on a daily basis.

While it’s a bit heartbreaking to know that Solovino might never see his dad again, the decision to give him up was ultimately the best one.

His dad was strong and he realized that his dog was going to be better off living with someone who could provide for him every day. I hope he is doing well wherever he is.

As for Solovino, his adventures are only getting started, and I am so glad to see that he is living the life he always wanted.
