I don’t think there is a more wholesome profession in this world than being a dog rescuer. Getting to witness a pup transform and turn into an amazing companion for someone can be truly inspiring.

The look on their faces and the happiness they feel when they find a forever home and live happily ever after is priceless, and nothing in this world can replace it.

I bet that Lee Asher feels the same way every time he saves an adorable puppy. This time, however, he’s not just saving one.

He went to Marion County Dog Services in Oregon with the intention of adopting five shelter dogs, and that is just amazing.

They Are Happy To Start Over

If there is one thing that is truly amazing about shelters, it’s the ability of other people to help other dogs until they can find a forever home.

However, they can get overcrowded, and that is a big problem. Marion County Dog Services reached out to all of their partners because finding an adoption is not very easy.

Lee Asher came to this shelter to help them by taking in five adorable dogs. When he entered the shelter, he was first introduced to one of the dogs.

He noticed just how healthy and sweet he was. Lee couldn’t believe that he had been there for months. 

Later, he took him for a small walk, and he realized just how playful he was. Being around this pup was just the easiest thing ever. It was so great that he was adopting him.

After that, the rescuers brought four more dogs to the yard, where they played together, and Lee was able to meet all of them at once.

A Trip To The Asher House

They were all very healthy and cheerful. The Oregon rescuers took very good care of them, and this was just amazing.

Lee surprised the shelter staff by saying he would adopt another dog. They were so happy to hear this, and he was over the moon to meet them all.

When the introductions were done, and it was time to go back to the Asher House, Lee placed all the dogs in his car so they would be comfortable on their ride back.

They returned to his property where he helped them all settle in and just relax for a bit. All six dogs would get the chance to meet even more friends soon.

There was no doubt in Lee’s mind that they would get along well with all the other animals there as they were just amazing.

Through this rescue, we can really see just how rewarding it feels to be a rescuer. Lee is really amazing for giving so many animals a home.
