Sometimes, I try to imagine how much pain a stray dog goes through on a daily basis and how they feel living in the uncertainty of every day.

The idea that you never know when your next meal will be or if there will even be one is depressing.

It’s a really rough situation, and there is hardly an easy way out, considering that many of the people who can help are not cooperative.

However, every once in a while, an interesting opportunity presents itself. A kind stranger will notice a dog’s pain and offer some resolution.

This pregnant dog was so exhausted and desperately needed help. When she couldn’t walk anymore, she just collapsed on the road, but luckily, somebody wonderful noticed her.

She Could Hardly Move

A group of kind people noticed her and couldn’t just ignore the problem. They stopped their car and decided to examine her.

Upon looking closer at her and giving her a few pets, they realized that she wasn’t going to move even though she was scared.

Everyone pretty much ignored her despite the fact that she desperately needed help. One important thing is that rescuers also realized that she was pregnant.

They had to get her medical help fast, so they went to the nearest pharmacy to find medication for her. The nearest veterinarian clinic was too far away, so this was their best shot.

She had a mild fever and was malnourished. While it’s nothing that can’t be fixed with treatment, the rescuers would not let their guard down.

They took her home and built her a small house where she could rest and relax for a bit. Although she was still quite wary of humans, she understood that her rescuers wanted to help.

The kind people fed her constantly, treated her medical problems, and were always there for comfort. In their hands, she was going to make it.

Soon enough, she regained a lot of her strength and was even able to walk around the house for a while.

Wonderful News For Mama Dog

However, things would change even more. Just four days later, she gave birth to three healthy puppies. It was incredibly exhausting for this mama dog, but she persevered for her babies.

She took care of them all the time and would never let them get out of her sight. They were so adorable. The rescuers also worked around the clock to help them with anything they needed.

They noticed that something was wrong with one of the puppies. He couldn’t drink milk properly. So, in order to help somehow, they helped the mama dog with supplements so she would have enough milk for her babies.

She loved the food her rescuers prepared, and her eyes were filled with gratitude for everything they had done to help her.

Even though the rescuers did their best to help the young puppy who was struggling with his health, nothing could be done.

He eventually grew even weaker and crossed the rainbow bridge a few days later. Everyone was completely heartbroken by this.

However, the best thing the rescuers could do now was focus on them. They were still there and needed help. 

They Are Living Amazing Lives

However, the mother did not let go of this easily. She skipped a lot of her meals and would often just go outside and gaze into the distance. It was clear that this affected her so much.

They tried comforting her, but she was not receptive to it. They even brought a dog friend to help cheer her up, but it didn’t work.

That didn’t mean they were going to give up. The amazing rescuers continued comforting her, and she eventually overcame her sadness with time.

After about a month, she was completely different. The mama dog was so much happier, and her puppies had already grown so much. It was already time to find them a new family.

It should come as no surprise that they all found wonderful homes and are living their best lives now. Another positive news was that their homes were nearby, and they could often come to visit their mom.

She is doing a lot better, and her rescuers have decided to keep her. They love her so much that she can’t imagine her life without them.
