I have said it before and I will say it again: Saving a puppy in need is one of the most noble things a person can do in their life.

Not only are you making their life a lot better, they will also repay you with love and kindness because they are our best friends.

This adorable little puppy was struggling to survive when he was first found by rescuers. Luckily, his life would change completely when he was adopted by his amazing new family.

Roo’s New Best Friend

When Katie Bevacqua first learned about Roo, she felt extremely sad for her and realized that she had to help her somehow.

She went to the shelter in North Carolina and then learned more about her story. She was a part of a large litter.

They were all abandoned and left to starve without any food or water. This was absolutely heartbreaking for Katie to hear.

One of the puppies passed away during this time and it made everything just seem so hopeless. Luckily, the rescuers from North Carolina spotted them and rushed to help.

Katie decided to adopt Roo and give her a new life. When she was first brought into her house, Roo was still very skinny.

She met her new dog sibling, Darwin, and they immediately hit it off. The two pups became best friends in no time. 

Katie spent a long time treating Roo and keeping her on a good diet. Darwin, on the other hand, would be there for emotional support and it was just so wholesome to see them together.

He has helped her more than anyone can imagine. Their bond is something really special. Katie hopes that this will help her recover and also regain her faith in other humans.

Internet’s Reaction To Roo

When Roo’s life started changing for the better, Katie thought it would be a good idea to post her story on TikTok and share her experience.

After she did that, she was surprised that the video exploded in popularity. It has millions of views and many people shared their reactions to the clip.

One person commented: “We need updates on this puppy every 6 hours. Even if nothing happens. Thanks.”

It’s always heartwarming to see this level of empathy in other people as it shows that there are good people who want to help stray pups at all costs.

Another person said: “My favourite thing about this is every clip she gets chubbier and chubbier.”

It’s always beautiful to see a sweet dog recover and realize that his life has changed for the better. Roo has changed so much and is grateful to Katie for giving her a new chance.

Lastly, somebody commented: “Who’s gonna tell them that ain’t no foster puppy? That’s their third dog. It would be a crime to separate the besties now lol.”

While it may not have been obvious for some people, Katie has quite a few dogs and has decided to keep Roo. She and Darwin should not be separated at all.

It’s just so heartwarming to see how this little puppy went from being malnourished and hurt by other people to living his best life with his new family and the best sibling he could possibly ask for. I am glad he has recovered.
