Can you imagine owning a dog and not allowing them to reach their full potential?

Unfortunately, this is the sad reality of many dogs out there. Despite having a roof above their heads and a family to call their own, some canines just never see anything beyond their dog house and a chain.

In Mori’s case, she lived her whole life being closed in a small, tiny kennel. Her owner was far from treating her well, and even though she was heavily pregnant, Mori knew nothing but neglect and sadness.

She Hoped To Be Rescued

When a kind man came across Mori, she was in terrible condition.

According to the Paws Show’s video, she lived in a tiny enclosure, completely cut off from anything that even remotely reminded her of freedom. Her whole life was in between those four walls and a fence. 

The man’s heart broke when he noticed that Mori, on top of everything, was just a few days from having a litter.

Her stomach was big and she could hardly move, indicating that she, in fact, could have babies any minute.

Mori had this kind, sad look on her face and two striking eyes that begged for help. Once she noticed a strange man standing in front of her “home,” she couldn’t stop wagging her tail, trying to befriend him. Underneath all that heartbreak, there was just the sweetest lovebug!

And, it was as if she knew the man was her only chance to reach freedom. 

Completely shaken by her condition, the man immediately offered to adopt Mori. He just couldn’t stand the idea of her having babies in such a poor environment. Mori’s owner agreed, and the rest, as they say, is history!

She and her new hooman drove off to a brand-new life journey, never looking back!

The first stop – the vet clinic, and preparing a plan for Mori’s upcoming babies!

Mori Has A Big, Pawfect Family Now

After her very first X-ray that revealed nine tiny puppies in Mori’s stomach, her new owner prepared her a nice, cozy place where she could deliver them safely.

For the first time in what seemed like forever, Mori felt comfy. 

Even though she was already in labor, you could just tell how much she enjoyed being treated nicely. It took this sweet mama a day to deliver all of her babies, but at the end of the day, no one was prouder than her!

She instantly switched to “being the most caring dog mom ever” mode and embraced her newborns with an open heart.

Their new owner couldn’t be happier to see them all together, far away from her inhumane living conditions. 

Mori enjoyed her new life role and did amazingly. She took care of the pups around the clock, kept them warm and safe, and fed them all the time.

From now on, her days will be filled with endless joy and love. When the time comes, she and her pups will take on many exciting adventures together with their new owner. And, she couldn’t be more excited about that!
