If you grew up with older siblings, you know that sometimes, they start acting like they are your parents.

They begin telling you what to do, what not to do, how to behave… And even though this may be annoying for younger siblings, they know that it comes from a good place.

As a kid who went through exactly that, I can not express my shock when I saw a TikTok video showcasing something that I literally went through as a child. However, this time, it was in dog form!

I’m not going to lie to you; the video that I am talking about is pretty intense.

It depicts two dogs who have raised their guard at a heartbreaking scene happening outside. A scary excavator is digging up their beloved backyard, forcing them to stay inside instead of running around in the sun.

Deciding to voice their anger, the pups began barking at the machine, warning it that they were ready to protect their home if it decided to tear it up as well.

However, their German Shepherd brother wasn’t impressed at all!

Knowing that their parents were the ones who called in the excavator as they wanted to make their playground funner, he decided to put on his big boy pants and teach his siblings some manners.

He calmly walked over to his siblings and told them to stand down!

At first, the pups didn’t really listen to him. But, when he stepped between them and the glass door, they finally got the memo!

The two pups were reassured enough that they stopped antagonizing the construction worker, allowing him to do his job in peace. And, I am sure that their German Shepherd brother was pleased with himself, showing everybody that he really is the dog of the house.

The Organized Guardians

If there is one thing German Shepherds are known for, it’s their love for order – apart from their loyalty and intelligence, of course.

One of the first instances of this lies in the fact that they love to put their toys in a specific place. Either lining them up in a neat row or having them in a designated spot, these clever pups really do have a system in place.

German Shepherds thrive on routine. They love to have their walks, meals, and playtime happen at the same time every day. So, if you forget that it is time for a yummy meal, don’t worry… they will make sure to remind you.

Because of their incredible intelligence, these pups tend to remember where things belong. If they see a remote on the floor, they are most likely to pick it up and place it on the table. A pair of shoes is out of place? German Shepherds might nudge them back into place.
