As many dogs struggle to survive on the streets, any life that is spared is a huge victory. Through harsh weather, lonely nights, and lack of food and shelter, homeless pups still hold onto hope and even exhibit friendliness and warmth. One such dog, named Walter, became a viral sensation when his parents filmed him singing along with his dad after rescuing him. Although frightened and traumatized by his circumstances, Walter’s faith remained unchanged despite all he had been through. Walter was abandoned by his owner when a couple, Sanju and Nikita, found him. At first, they left Walter in the same spot, unsure if he was lost. They took his photo and passed it around town, hoping someone would recognize him. They then went back for Walter, but he disappeared.
Alarmed by his whereabouts, Sanju and Nikita asked neighbors and friends to be on the lookout. They received news that Walter was found but badly injured. The couple raced over and brought Walter home to nurse him back to health.
Once he was feeling better, the couple took him on daily walks. Every time they did, he dragged the couple to the spot where he was abandoned, convinced his owner would return for him. After some time, the dog accepted his new life with Sanju and Nikita but still missed his owner.
Sanju, who is a very talented singer, sat down one day and performed. Walter unexpectedly walked over, took a seat beside him, and sang along. This charming performance went viral! It wowed audiences worldwide, but most of all, it wowed Walter’s new parents. After singing with his dad, Walter’s true colors emerged.
