While good humans were driving along a deserted road, they spotted a pup with an unusually large belly who was wandering around.

The sorrowful dog dragged her tired paws as she desperately searched for scraps of food.

The moment the pup saw a car approaching her, she started running after it. She hoped that the people in the car would help her and take her somewhere safe.

As soon as the people saw the doggo running after them, they screeched to a stop and opened the car door.

The exhausted canine quickly entered the car and curled up on the floorboard. She looked at her rescuers with sad eyes as if she was asking for help.

Taking The Pup To The Hospital

The pup’s rescuers noticed the wounds on her body that made her skin feel itchy.

After they fed her, the kind people rushed her to the hospital, where the vet examined the dog. The canine, later named Lucky, was diagnosed with mild dermatitis. 

The vet prescribed her the medicine and discharged her from the hospital.

Lucky’s rescuers brought her to their home and prepared her a place to stay. They began taking care of her. 

The kind-hearted people paid special attention to the dog’s hygiene, and they regularly applied medicine to her skin.

The pup breathed a sense of relief because she realized that someone cared for her. She was not on her own anymore.

Whenever they treated her wounds, the canine looked at them with eyes filled with appreciation and gratitude.

Three weeks later, Lucky’s skin condition improved, and her wounds almost healed. The pooch felt comfortable, and her skin was no longer itchy.

The doggo’s rescuers often took her on walks and showed her the wonderful scenery. 

Lucky wagged her tail non-stop, feeling deeply grateful to them for showing her how beautiful life could be.

A month after Lucky was rescued from the streets, her caregivers drove her to the hospital for a prenatal checkup. 

After Lucky had an ultrasound, the doctor revealed that the doggo would soon give birth to six puppies.

Finding Her Place Under The Sun

The good people made sure that Lucky ate nutritious food that was good for her and her future babies.

Owing to the amazing care of her rescuers, the canine regained her energy and strength.

Lucky felt overjoyed to have such amazing humans by her side. She considered them her family.

Lucky’s rescuers knew that they couldn’t picture their lives without her and they made her a permanent member of their family.

They promised to be with her always.

Thanks to the encouragement and love her family gave her, Lucky was carefree. The canine was ready to welcome her children into the world.
