It’s heartwrenching to imagine how sad and desperate Hoji must have felt after his owners moved out without him.

The canine trusted them with his whole heart and believed that they would always be by his side.

After his heartless family left him in an empty apartment, the pup’s whole world was turned upside down. 

Despite finding himself in a difficult situation, the canine’s heart still retained a flicker of hope. Hoji kept believing that good souls would find him and bring him to safety.

Hoji Gets Rescued

Fortunately, animal control officers discovered Hoji in the empty apartment. 

The canine felt confused when he saw them. He kept looking at them with eyes filled with sorrow.

The pup’s heroes felt heartbroken for him. They knew how disappointed and hurt he felt.

Hoji’s owners didn’t even leave some food or water for him. The pup was starving.

The good people managed to capture him, and they drove him to City Dogs Cleveland, the adoption and volunteer program for Cleveland Animal Care and Control in Ohio.

The shelter staff welcomed Hoji with outstretched arms. They offered him comfort and showered him with affection. The good people were determined to help him forget the heartbreak he went through.

Thanks to the love the staffers gave him, the doggo began feeling better. 

Despite being disappointed by humans, the canine opened his heart to love. He loved spending time with his shelter friends.

Hoji’s face lit up with a smile. His heart glimmered with the hope that he would find humans who would love him like he deserved. 

The shelter staff shared Hoji’s story on social media, hoping that he would captivate the hearts of potential adopters.

Hoping To Find Happiness 

Hoji’s poignant story attracted a lot of attention, but nobody stepped forward to adopt him.

The Ohio shelter posted an update video and revealed that the delightful doggo made new friends. He met a team of veterinary technician students in order to teach them what animal control officers do.

The adorable canine snuggled with them and took in all the cuddles they gave him.

Although Hoji receives a ton of love from his shelter friends, he longs to have his own home. 

His biggest wish is to meet his forever parents and shower them with the love that he has saved only for them.

After the betrayal and heartbreak Hoji endured, he deserves to find humans who will adore him and cherish him forever.
