Since forever, dogs have been our loyal companions who have done everything they could to ensure that we not only felt loved but saved, too.

They protect us, our properties, and even our livestock! And for this, they deserve to be respected and appreciated. However, not every hooman understands this.

One dog owner ended up forgetting that pups have feelings, too, leaving his pup chained up in front of a factory without proper care and attention.

So, when a group of animal rescuers heard about this, they made sure that this pup ended up in their loving hands.

Rescue Mission

Arriving at the factory where the dog was being held, the rescuers couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw her.

The pup was gasping for her breath every second and was unable to walk because her belly was super swollen. But, despite the unfortunate fate, she still kept her spirits high and threw on a big smile as soon as she saw her new friends.

Even with her happy nature, the rescuers decided to spend some time with the pup so that they could get to know her better.

They started petting her soft fur and spoke to her in a kind and soothing voice, ensuring her that not only was she safe, but she was also in the hands of the most loving hoomans ever!

After their quality time, the pup, now named O-rae, was carefully placed in their care and brought to an animal clinic.

What Will Happen Now

Welcoming O-rae with open arms, the staff at the clinic immediately took this sweet girl to the emergency room so that they could determine the reason behind her huge belly.

However, they first had to give her a little spa treatment where they shaved her fur, cleaned her ears, and cut her extremely overgrown nails that were causing her a lot of pain.

When she was all nice and clean, the doctors gave her a thorough medical examination. They conducted some tests that later determined that, despite her big belly, she was actually extremely malnourished.

Her stomach was actually full of fluids, making her look like a little chubster. But, when they finally drained it, her true state was revealed.

Not to worry… her hoomans were with her every step of the way.

After the procedure, O-rae felt so much better!

She completely came out of her shell and was happier than ever! O-rae ran around the clinic, greeting every person she came by and showing off her newfound strength.

I am sure that with time, she will only get better and better, enabling her to find a loving forever home that will continue to shower her with love and respect that she truly deserves.
