Although it depends on the breed, most dogs enjoy certain daily activities from the bottom of their hearts. One of those is certainly a walk with their favorite human, as well as releasing energy in various physical activities or playing with other dogs.

When the joy of these activities suddenly disappears, you know that something is not completely right. This is exactly what Amber Tavener witnessed, whose Border Collie has by no means been herself lately. 

However, after two months, this woman finally understood what was going on, but her Border Collie was still confused, or even shocked, by the new reality she found herself in. 

Her Expression Said It All

There are many signs that indicate pregnancy in dogs and you just have to recognize them in order to act properly. In the initial phase of a two-month pregnancy, these signs include a swollen vulva and slightly larger or pinker nipples. 

Only later does the decrease in energy happen, and it is obvious that Amber did not notice these initial signs before her dog lost her desire for the activities she enjoyed until then. Because of that, a sudden increase in the number of pups in her house came as a surprise. 

However, what is even more interesting and somewhat hilarious is the fact that the mother dog herself was shocked by the arrival of the little furry beings in this world. 

This is exactly what her facial expression shows best in the TikTok video that Amber posted on June 5, 2024, via her account, @agilityambs.

“When you felt relly out of sorts for 2 months. Now you realise why…” it is written in the video, while the caption reads: “What’s your return policy?”

From her funny facial expression as well as from what is written in the video, we can definitely conclude that this Border Collie mom is not very pleasantly surprised by what happened to her.

However, no matter how uncomfortable she might be at first, we are sure that the mother’s love will soon prevail and that the recognizable smile will return to her face.

Although the mama dog didn’t feel like laughing at all in these moments, she can be proud of the fact that she managed to bring smiles to the faces of the numerous TikTok audience.
