As a dog mom myself, it really breaks my heart when I have to leave my little pupper at home while I go somewhere he isn’t invited.

Whether it’s dinner at a restaurant, a party, or an event, I always spend extra time with my fluff ball, reassuring him that I’ll be back before he even realizes I’m gone.

That’s why, any time I can actually bring him along, you really can’t tell who’s happier – me or him.

Imagine my excitement when scrolling on social media the other day, I came across the most incredible thing ever – adorable newlyweds decided to invite dogs to their wedding!

Happily Ever After

When incredible dog lovers, Karya and Oliver Davies, decided to tie the knot, months of wedding planning began.

From picking the dress to arranging the venue, these newlyweds really did have a lot of work to do.

However, when it came time for them to figure out who to invite, one name absolutely had to be on that list… Rufus!

“We love dogs in our family, they are such a big part of our life and we couldn’t imagine doing our day without them. When the registrar read our personal vows initially, she actually thought we had a young child in the few sentences we had both written about our golden retriever Rufus,” Davies told Newsweek.

So, when they found out that their venue was actually dog-friendly, there was only one logical thing to do – invite the pups!

Doggo Heaven

The rules were simple… if you received an invitation for the big day and you were a proud dog parent, bring your doggo along!

And rest assured, they did.

Seven adorable pups attended the big day: Rufus, Orlando, Eddie, Dexter, Willow, Harley and Melodie. And they were the center of the attention – until the bride showed up, of course!

Luckily, a wedding photographer by the name of Sophie Collins captured the entire adorable moment and shared it on her social media where she caught the attention of many animal lovers around the world.

The video depicts the beautiful girls and handsome boys being on their best behavior, showing everybody what a good guest is.

No surprise: the internet loved it!          

Many took to the comments expressing just how adorable these guests were, claiming that they might do this on their big day, too.

“More weddings like this. I think I do the same,” one commenter wrote.

“My kind of party. I’d look after all of them while the owners had fun,” stated another.

One summed it up perfectly, stating: “What a pawfect wedding.”

However, this commenter had a very unique idea: “Would it be weird if I only invited the dogs as guests??”
