Although stray dogs try to avoid the dangers lurking on street corners, they sometimes get into trouble.

Caterpillar was just a puppy when she sustained an injury that made her unable to move her hind legs.

Although the puppy struggled to walk, she made an effort to crawl to a front yard of a stranger, hoping to get much-needed help.

When a kind-hearted woman opened the door, she was surprised to discover the most adorable fur baby dragging her paws with difficulty.

The heartbroken puppy looked at her with tearful eyes, begging her to save her life.

Jumping To The Puppy’s Aid

The good woman, who was also a dog rescuer, rushed the puppy to the hospital. 

The vet staff fed the little furball who happily munched her delicious meal. She felt safe and sensed that she was in good hands.

The vet gave her a full medical checkup and ran the necessary tests.

The test results showed that the puppy was anemic due to being infested with parasites.

The giant-hearted rescuer consoled the pooch, trying to let her know that she would never be alone again.

The hospital staff hoped that the pup, later named Caterpillar, would be able to walk again, but unfortunately, after taking an X-ray, they were disappointed.

Sadly, it became clear that Caterpillar would never regain movement in her hind legs.

The dog rescuer felt heartbroken. She stroked the little puppy, and promised her to give her the best possible life.

A Home Filled With Love

The kind human brought the pooch home and introduced her to her doggy siblings and a kitten. Caterpillar immediately struck up a friendship with them.

The little puppy felt secure in her forever home. 

Caterpillar loved snuggling with her mom who was delighted with her affectionate personality. The pup soaked up all the love she gave her.

The pooch kept looking at her mom with love-filled eyes. Wishing to express her unconditional love and gratitude toward her, Caterpillar often kissed her hands.

Owing to the great care that her mom pampered her with, the puppy started feeling better.

As time went by, Caterpillar thrived more and more. She gained weight and regained her strength.

Two months after her rescue, the puppy transformed into a happy dog. She feels grateful for all the love she received from her mom and her furry siblings.

The little puppy who wandered the streets begging for compassion and help found the happiness she dreamed of.  

Caterpillar will never feel sorrowful and lonely again.
